My name is Henrique Almeida Louzada, born and living in Belo Horizonte - MG, Brazil. I've been a programmer since 2015, the same year I graduated as a computer technician from COTEMIG. In 2021, I finished the bachelor's degree in Information Systems at PUC Minas, for which I received the Brazilian Computing Society Outstanding Student Award, participated in research groups and published award-winning articles in the areas of HCI and computer vision. I am currently taking a Master's degree in Computer Science at UFMG, contributing to the CIIA-Saúde data parity project in partnership with Unimed and the City Hall of Belo Horizonte. I work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Itaú Unibanco, where I am guiding my career towards the management area.
Letras is the top 1 lyrics website in Brazil. There I practiced the Scrum methodology with GitHub, programmed in Go and PHP (legacy), did some front-end tasks and learned DevOps. I worked a lot with transactional and analytical databases, as well as solutions like Solr, caching with Redis and RabbitMQ.
Sólides is the biggest Brazilian HRTech. There I worked focused on MLOps in the company's data lab, participating in the implementation of Machine Learning models with Python and web front-end. My main task was to build the MLE framework for the lab, using Amazon EKS and CI/CD pipelines.
The Intermedium Bank is a fintech company from Minas Gerais listed on Nasdaq. There I participated in the initiative to create the bank's ML framework in partnership with an external consultancy. To do this, I provisioned resources in the AWS cloud through Terraform and GitLab Pipelines, as well as solutions for the data scientist's value generation journey with SageMaker and containerized applications in the cloud.
Itaú is the biggest bank in Latin America. I'm currently allocated in a data science squad helping my colleagues to provision resources in the AWS cloud through the bank's framework. I also participate in levers that aim to develop a career development plan for the data team and improve the tools they use on a daily basis.
